Hardware (Chassis Fans Inspection/Replacement)
Details:
Our monitoring system just notified us a moment ago that HK01's CPU temperatures are above the normal range. To avoid running into issues, we would like to schedule between 30 - 60 minutes of downtime overnight so we can reboot the server and check whether the chassis fans are failing and if so a replacement will be carried out.
Procedure:
The servers will be gracefully shut down at the start of the maintenance. Our on-site technicians will inspect the hardware and if necessary a hardware replacement will be made.
Maintenance Window:
Start: 9th November 2016 at 3.00AM (GMT+8)
End: 9th November 2016 at 4.00AM (GMT+8)
Estimated Amount of Downtime:
We are estimating between 30 minutes to 1 hour of downtime during the aforementionedmaintenance window. Please be assured we understand the importance of minimizing downtime during any type of maintenance and for this reason we will do everything in our power to expedite this procedure.
